Unraveling! Remake! loveing it!!

We buy new cloths, we love having something special, and made just for us! As i been away for a weekend visiting country side and dear friends family in Berry. I could not stop of going and checking some second hand shops, and as it was unexpected i found some real treasure! 100% cashmere jumper, soft and looking as it would be brand new, for only £4.99, BARGAIN

so i started of taking garment apart, then unraveling.

The images at the begging, I am using some of my own work, form my 2nd year, to show the sample of the fashion and nature in my work, to translate idea that fashion is everything around us. as a designers we feel inspired and overwhelmed with ever part of surrounding, in a different way.

using old T-shirt to make NEW

step one: using natural dyes i dyed a white 100percent cotton T-shirt, last summer 2009, and as i was looking in my wardrobe i noticed that its still there so decided to work on few little details and to make more fashionable.

The edge of the T-shirt was all overlooked, so to creat casual and cnfortible style i desided to undo the edge around the botton, and sleeves.










The other thing i decided to work on the shoulders to to create more fashion statement, by using shoulder pads, as well not too big, right size and very proportional, to look stylish and different to an ordinary T-shirt.

After folding the sleeve on top off the shoulder pad i pinned and sowed around to secure in place.



























as soon i secured the pad and liked that, i looked for a some beeds and something that would look nice as a decoration to work on top of the shoulder. Had a range of the different staff, so decided to combine few different sequence stiles together.
Pearls and black flat sequences, sowing them in line around the shoulder pad twice, sawing in with a silk, gold thread.

recession and credit crunch and insists she isn't fazed about it.

Alternative fashion week 2009

A four day celebration of alternative fashion and support for new talent, the Alternative Fashion Week 2009 in London's Spitalfields Market promises an exciting experience. The event is a counterbalance to the London Fashion Week, a highly popular, media-friendly London fashion celebration. Young artists and new ideas are the hallmarks of the Alternative Fashion Week 09 in London.


Most amaizing day!!!
We all enjoyded, loveded and going to remember for long!!
It was chilli and very breezy, but all exitment and preparation took over. It took us six weeks, of our hard work and long working hours just to create and design out fashion out fits, and it took another half a day just to get ready for a show.
The show was good and all of our designs looked fabulous.
